He will be 1-4 against asu after this year. If he does not get fired for that. I will not be going to any games next year. I try to go to at least half of the home games every year. I am better off going to the casino and throw my money away.
This is the golden age of Arizona Football. Rodriguez has lead a rag-tag bunch to four straight bowl games and averages 8 wins per year, without true fan support. Now, the "fire Smith" and "fire Tomey" folks are coming out of the woodwork, without their checkbooks.
Game over. The Stadium seems to be almost empty. If Byrne allows this to continue for another season, thanks to the buyout he granted Rich Rod, he'll be remembered as the gravedigger of Arizona football. This team is not going to get any better next year. Our average recruited player rating for the next class is 44th nationally and 10th in the Pac-12. It's the same weak recruiting as every year.
Injuries are tough. Very cavalier to say "fire Rodriguez" without putting up personal cash. Need $10,000,000 to fire him and bring in another. But if we don't give and support, we will need another $10,000,000 to get rid of that guy too.
Schemes seem to be good, even on defense. Players just look to be out of position. Injuries just decimating the program. With lack of history/giving bybthe fan base, injuries hurt UofA worse than other programs.
Fan with depressed look on his face. He goes on jumbotron, goes wild. Fans love them some air time, win or lose.

When players consistently get worse year after year in a program, that is the tell tale sign of bad coaching. Every program will have a few busts but when consistently the players decline rather than improve it's the coaching staff....yeah...time for Richy Rich to go.
Samajie Grant might be the de facto MVP for Arizona this season. Or, at least, on offense.

Good bet those rankings don’t improve this week...

Before today, there were five Power-5 conference teams in bottom 12 nationally for total defense. 4 are Pac-12 (Arizona, ASU, Oregon, Cal).

How bright the future seemed after that hail Mary pass from Anu Solomon to Austin Hill to beat Cal just 2 short seasons ago. What in the Wide World of Sports has happened to this squad. Is it possible that folks just forget how to play the game ?
