Welcome to today's live chat on the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on "Obamacare." It's an unmoderated chat, meaning your comments will be posted immediately. The usual rules apply, however - avoid foul language or personal attacks on others commenting here.
To Sixelaz: The size of the penalty (tax) for an individual is on a sliding scale, based on income, rising over time to several thousand dollars per person. There are also penalties (taxes) for employers not offering health insurance. Whether you are for or against Obamacare, you must realize that a tax or penalty of $200 a year won't go very far toward paying for the true cost of providing health insurance or health care.
We're going to close the chat shortly. If you've been waiting to make a comment, now would be the time to chime in.
Thanks, readers, for participating in today's chat. As I write this, the poll is tied for and against the ruling.
